The Alumni Community offers opportunities to stay connected, be inspired by the mission, and make a difference for others. It includes former participants, coaches, staff members, and board members.

As part of the GOTR Alumni Community - Beyond the Finish - you’ll enjoy virtual speaker events, monthly inspiration with reflections and mini challenges, interactive “GOTR for Grown-Ups” sessions offered virtually, month-long challenges that inspire movement, connection, and whole-person health, plus a welcome gift when you join.

Starpower Alumni Scholarships, sponsored by Girls on the Run of Silicon Valley
The GOTRSV alumni scholarship supports GOTRSV alumni who have graduated from high school or are graduating and plan to pursue post-secondary education. The scholarship celebrates the accomplishments of GOTRSV alumni and, in part, recognizes the lifelong impact of the GOTR mission on its participants.
We are excited to announce our three 2026 Alumni StarPower Scholarship recipients: Colette D, Kaela N and Sadie Y. Each of the GOTRSV alumni received a $1,000 scholarship for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Applications for our 2027-2028 academic year scholarships will open in March 2027.

Volunteer Opportunities
Girls on the Run needs caring, committed people like you. Become a coach, help start a new site, spread the word in your community, or join a committee or board. However you choose to get involved, your support makes it possible for more girls to experience the power of GOTR.
Apply to join the Young Professionals Board
The GOTRSV Young Professionals Board increases awareness of Girls on the Run, supports the GOTR volunteer community, and raises money for GOTRSV's financial assistance fund. The YPB works closely with GOTRSV staff to support strategic and fundraising initiatives that sustain and deepen GOTR's mission and impact in Silicon Valley.
