At Girls on the Run, we offer life-changing, physical activity-based, after-school programs for girls in 3rd through 8th grades throughout Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties. Our goal is to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. During the 10 weeks from March through mid-May, the girls train for the Girls on the Run 5K run/walk while learning life skills such as healthy decision-making and teamwork. Girls on the Run is so much fun!
Join us in celebratation of our 15th year of programs in Silicon Valley by making a donation to our Limitless Potential Fundraiser! Girls on the Run of Silicon Valley started in 2002 with just one school and one team of girls. Our amazing volunteer coaches, donors and sponsors have helped us to grow and we will serve over 2,000 girls at 94 schools in Spring 2016. Since our inception, we have had over 10,000 girls participate in our programs. Help us to inspire more girls to reach their limitless potential!
